Nilesh Patil, Ph.D

Nilesh Patil, Ph.D has a diverse work experience in the field of formulation research and development. Nilesh'smost recent role was as a Principal Scientist at BDD Pharma, where they currently work. Prior to joining BDD Pharma, Nilesh worked at Perrigo Company plc as a Principal Scientist from October 2019 to December 2022, and as a Scientist from July 2016 to September 2019. Nilesh also gained valuable experience at Rubicon Research Pvt Ltd, where they served as a Sr.Executive from April 2015 to June 2016, and as an Executive from April 2013 to March 2015. Nilesh's earlier experience includes working as an Officer-Formulation R&D at Watson Pharma (now Teva) from August 2010 to March 2013, and as a Jr. Executive from December 2006 to July 2008 at MEYER ORGANICS PVT. LTD., where they initially started as a Trainee from June 2006 to November 2006.

Nilesh Patil, Ph.D, obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2006. Nilesh then pursued a Masters in Pharmacy from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), completing it in 2010. Nilesh continued their education at Savitribai Phule Pune University, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Pharmaceutics in 2020.

Nilesh Patil has also obtained several additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Nilesh received the Lean Practitioner certification from Benchmark Six Sigma in November 2016, and the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from the same institution in January 2017. In October 2015, they obtained the Design of Expert (DoE) certification from Stat-Ease. Furthermore, in April 2020, Nilesh Patil achieved the certification in the Generic Drug Forum 2020, provided by the FDA U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
