Kalyan Handique

Kalyan Handique has extensive work experience in the biotechnology industry. Kalyan currently holds the position of Chief Innovation Officer at Bio-Rad Laboratories, where they have been since 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the VP of CDG Advanced Technology at the same company from 2021 to 2023.

Before joining Bio-Rad Laboratories, Handique worked as an Advisor at Augment Ventures starting in 2011. Kalyan also served as an Advisor at Zell Lurie Commercialization Fund in 2010.

Handique has held various leadership roles at different companies. Kalyan Handique obtained their Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their B.Tech in Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, from 1991 to 1995. From 1979 to 1990, they attended Kendriya Vidyalaya, Khanapara, Assam, India, although the specific degree and field of study during that time are not provided.
