Louis Wai

Louis Wai serves as Associate General Counsel at Bio-Rad Laboratories since December 2021, providing counsel on intellectual property (IP) issues and strategies, including managing IP litigation, drafting agreements, and performing IP due diligence. Prior to this role, Louis worked as an IP Litigation Associate at Turner Boyd Seraphine LLP from October 2013 to November 2021, gaining extensive experience in patent litigation, including trial participation and witness depositions. Earlier experiences include a Summer Patent Prosecution Law Clerk position at Stetina Brunda Garred & Brucker and research and intern roles at UC Davis and the California Law Revision Commission. Louis holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis – School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Imperial College London.
