Gurbir Singh

Gurbir Singh has extensive work experience in database operations and SQL administration. Gurbir started their career at Infovision Technologies Inc. as a Sr SQL DBA/Developer, where they installed and configured SQL servers and performed migrations and upgrades. Gurbir then moved on to EWS as a Sr. SQL Database Administrator, where they were responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SQL Server versions in clustered and non-clustered environments. At BioReference Laboratories, Gurbir held various roles including Director of Database Operations, Tech Lead SQL DBA/BI Developer, and SQL DBA/BI Developer. Their responsibilities included overseeing database operations, Snowflake administration, and implementing backup recovery and disaster recovery solutions.

Gurbir Singh holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the New York Institute of Technology. Gurbir also has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Punjab Technical University. In addition, Gurbir has obtained various certifications in Microsoft SQL Server and database administration from Microsoft and Brainbench. Gurbir has also undergone training in Snowflake DBA.
