Dr. Stefanie Schmidt

Dr. Stefanie Schmidt is an experienced Account Manager and Digital Sales professional at Bio-Techne since December 2021. Prior to this role, Dr. Schmidt served as a Research Associate (PhD Student) at University Hospital Würzburg from November 2016 to November 2021, focusing on tissue engineering and regenerative medicine with an emphasis on cartilage tissue. Dr. Schmidt holds a Doctorate in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine from the Graduate School of Life Sciences at the University of Würzburg, obtained in 2021, as well as a Master of Science in Biochemistry from the Technical University of Munich, completed in 2016, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the same institution, completed in 2013. Additionally, study experience includes time at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2015.
