Maria Aberg

Maria Aberg has extensive work experience in the manufacturing and chemical industries. Maria is currently the Head of Manufacturing at Bio-Works Technologies starting in 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at Cytiva (formerly GE Life Sciences) as a Section Manager in chemical manufacturing from April 2020 to August 2023. In this role, Maria had significant budget and personnel responsibilities, overseeing a team of 23 people.

Maria also spent a considerable amount of time at GE Healthcare. Maria held various roles including Section Manager in chemical manufacturing (January 2014 to April 2020), Logistics Operations Leader - Outbound (July 2012 to January 2014), Production Team Leader (February 2011 to June 2012), Sr Process Development Engineer (October 2009 to February 2011), Process Development Engineer (January 2005 to October 2009), Production Engineer (August 2004 to January 2005), and Research Engineer (April 2004 to August 2004).

Before joining GE Healthcare, Maria worked as a Consultant and Process Development Engineer at LabTeam Sweden from May 2002 to March 2004.

Maria Aberg pursued their education from 1997 to 2002 at Uppsala University, where they obtained a Master of Science (M Sc) degree in Chemical Engineering, with a focus on Pharmaceuticals.
