Chris Patil

Chris Patil is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in biological research and scientific communication. Currently serving as Vice President of Media at BioAge Labs since March 2021, Chris has a background in scientific language editing, having freelanced from April 2012 to October 2021. Previous roles include Research Scientist at the Broad Institute, Staff Research Investigator at the Buck Institute for Age Research, and Postdoctoral Fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, focusing on topics such as gene expression, gene regulation in cellular senescence, and the regulatory biology of aging. Chris holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Stanford University.
