Matt Banicki

Director - In Vivo Biology at BioAge

Matt Banicki has a diverse work experience. Matt is currently working at BioAge Labs as a Director - In Vivo Biology, responsible for coordinating and participating in studies related to identified targets. Prior to this role, they worked as an Associate Director, In Vivo Operations, where they developed biosecurity protocols and created an efficient setup for operation of the vivarium space. Matt also served as a Vivarium Manager in the same company. Before joining BioAge Labs, Matt worked at Charles River Laboratories, where they held roles such as a Production Supervisor, Associate Supervisor, and Technologist. In these roles, they managed personnel, supervised operations, and ensured adherence to departmental policies and safety procedures. Matt also gained experience as a Lake Berryessa Outreach Intern at Solano County Water Agency and as an Environmental Department Student Intern at Caltrans.

Matt Banicki obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2017. Matt then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree from California State University, Monterey Bay from 2018 to 2020. In 2019, they obtained a certification as a Laboratory Animal Technologist (LATG) from the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science.
