Mo Jia

Mo Jia has extensive work experience in the fields of business development, sales, and technical support. They are currently working as the Director of Business Development at BioAgilytix, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, Mo Jia worked at GenScript for several years, starting as a Technical Account Manager in June 2014. They progressed through various roles, including Account Manager, Regional Technical Account Manager, and Associate Director of Sales and Technical Support. In their roles at GenScript, Mo Jia provided technical consultation for customized projects, managed key accounts, and supported the sales team. Additionally, Mo Jia has experience as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Baylor University, where they worked on understanding the pleiotropic effects of the Opaque 2 gene in maize kernels. They also had a research role at China Agricultural University.

Mo Jia completed their education in two main phases. From 2003 to 2007, they studied Biological Sciences and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from China Agricultural University. Following that, from 2008 to 2014, Mo Jia pursued their passion for Biology further by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from Baylor University. In addition to their academic qualifications, Mo Jia also obtained several certifications related to business strategy, customer analytics, talent management, and strategic sales management from institutions such as Wharton Online and Harvard Extension School.
