Maria Krook

Maria Krook has an extensive work history in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Maria most recently held the position of Senior Director of Quality Assurance at BioArctic. Prior to this, they worked at Phase2Phase Biopharma as a Senior Quality Consultant. Maria also has experience at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB, where they served as a Senior Quality Specialist and Qualified Person, as well as a QA Specialist. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Cobra Biologics and RecipharmCobra Biologics as a Director and Qualified Person in Quality Assurance. Maria began their career at AstraZeneca, where they held various managerial and scientific roles in the areas of product analysis, characterisation and comparability, analytical biotechnology, and analytical development.

Maria Krook has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Karolinska Institutet and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry from the University of Gothenburg. Maria also studied Biochemistry at the University of Sussex.
