Steve Hastwell

Steve Hastwell has over 30 years of work experience in the life science industry. Steve began their career in 1981 as Chief MLSO at the Lothian Health Board. In 1991, they became Sales Manager at DuPont Biotechnology and then moved to NEN Life Science Products in 1996, where they served as Northern European Sales Manager. From 2001 to 2011, they worked at Perkin Elmer LAS, first as Channel Manager and then as Country Sales Manager. In 2011, they became Business Development Manager at Select Pharma Laboratories Ltd and then Director at Select Bio Laboratories in 2013. From 2014 to 2017, they were Business Development Manager at BioreclamationIVT/Seralab. In 2017, they became Director Business Development at Concept Life Sciences and CXR Biosciences. Since 2019, they have been Director of Business Development at BioAscent.

Steve Hastwell attended the University of Bristol from 1976 to 1979, earning a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry. Prior to that, they attended Queen Elizabeth VIth Form College Darlington from 1974 to 1976.
