Irmina Diala has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical development and scientific research. Irmina is currently working as the Director of Clinical Development at BioAtla, Inc. Prior to that, they held roles at Puma Biotechnology, Inc. as an Associate Director and Manager of Clinical Science. Irmina also worked at Genentech as a Senior Scientific Researcher and at the Research and Biotechnology Division of St. Luke's Medical Center as a Scientist. In addition, they served as a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at Kyushu Institute of Technology and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at LMBC-ENS CNRS. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Research Associate at the Research and Biotechnology Division of St. Luke's Medical Center and as an Assistant Professor at Rizal Technological University. Irmina also served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Manila Central University.
Irmina Diala earned a Doctor of Engineering degree in Molecular Genetics from Kindai University in Japan between 2005 and 2009. Irmina also obtained a Certificate of Japanese Language and Culture from Kyushu University during the same period. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Genetics at the University of the Philippines. In 2018, they pursued a certification in Design and Interpretation of Clinical Trials from Coursera.
