Susie Melody

Ms. Melody brings nearly 20 years of Human Resources and business experience from the public and private sectors primarily in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Most recently, Ms. Melody was the Vice President of HR at Senomyx and was a member of the executive management team. She partnered with executive leaders and the Board to lead all aspects of the company's people strategies through both growth and reduction cycles. When Senomyx was acquired by Firmenich, Inc., the largest private flavor and fragrance company, she managed the company's transition to become their west-coast R&D center. Previously, she held positions of increasing responsibility in HR at Biogen (Idec) and Agouron - Pfizer. Ms. Melody began her career at The Boston Consulting Group as an associate consultant and at Amerada Hess in Human Resources. Ms. Melody received her BS degree in Chemistry from Texas Christian University and her MS degree in Chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles.
