Azat Garipov

Azat Garipov is an experienced professional in the medical and biopharmaceutical fields, currently serving as International Medical Manager at BIOCAD since June 2023. Prior roles include Therapeutic Area Head for Rare Hematology at Takeda from September 2020 to February 2023, and Senior Medical Advisor in Oncology at BIOCAD between December 2015 and September 2020. Azat also held positions as Medical Science Liaison at BIOCAD, Assistant Lecturer at Kazan Federal University, and Product Manager at IL Werfen. Early career experiences include roles as a predoctoral trainee at The Wistar Institute and Fox Chase Cancer Center. Azat holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Oncology and an MS in Microbiology from Kazan State University, as well as additional education from Justus Liebig University Giessen and IEDC - Bled School of Management.
