Marina Silkina is an experienced Clinical Research Scientist at BIOCAD, an international biotechnology company focused on innovative therapies for oncology, hematology, and rare diseases since May 2025. Previously, Marina served as a Postgraduate Researcher at the University of Westminster, conducting research on transcriptomics in breast cancer and gaining hands-on experience in genetic editing and molecular biology techniques. A brief stint as a Visiting Researcher at Emmanuel College involved scientific communications and writing. Prior roles included working as a Medical Oncologist and Sub-Investigator at Euromedservice, where Marina supported global Phase 1–3 oncology clinical trials and improved safety protocols, and an Oncology Fellow at the N.I. Pirogov Clinic, collaborating on individualized treatment plans for solid tumor patients. Marina holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences (Cancer Biology) from the University of Westminster and completed a residency in oncology at the Federal Medical Biophysical Center named after A.I. Burnazyan.
