Danielle Nielsen

Danielle Nielsen is an experienced Organic Chemistry and Materials Specialist currently working at BioCirc since May 2023, having previously held the same title at Sensible Energy for a brief period in early 2023. Danielle's academic background includes a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, obtained in 2018, and a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from the same institution. Prior to current roles, Danielle completed a postdoctoral fellowship at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2018 to March 2023 and also served as a Guest PhD at Aarhus University, where research focused on palladium-catalyzed carbonylative reactions. Master's research involved the synthesis of sugar-based organocatalysts for diastereoselective desymmetrization processes.
