Christos Colovos, MD PhD FACS has held a variety of positions in the medical field since 2000. Christos began their career as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at EMBL in 2000. Christos then served as a Data Manager & Regulatory Affairs Manager, Lymphoma Program - Clinical Research Unit at UCLA Health from 2001 to 2007. Christos then became a Surgical Resident at Cedars-Sinai from 2007 to 2012. From 2012 to 2018, they served as a Surgical Critical Care Fellow and Surgical Resident at Cedars-Sinai. From 2018 to 2021, they were an Assistant Professor at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont. Currently, they are the Medical Director at Biocogniv Inc.

Christos Colovos, MD PhD FACS obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine between 2003 and 2007. Christos then obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles between 1993 and 2000. Lastly, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles between 1990 and 1993.
