Gopakumar Menon

Gopakumar Menon currently serves as General Manager - Projects at Biocon Biologics since August 2025, having held various project management roles at Biocon from August 2013 to July 2025. With extensive experience in engineering, Gopakumar has been responsible for delivering engineering solutions in utility, power plant, and EHS, previously working as Senior Manager - Special Projects at GEA Group, focusing on project execution in the Middle East, and as Senior Engineer - Package Equipment at Chiyoda Corporation, specializing in the design of equipment for Oil & Gas facilities. Earlier roles include Deputy Manager - Engineering at Biocon, overseeing operations and maintenance for power plants, and Assistant Manager - O&M at Covanta, managing the operation of a 106-Megawatt power plant. Gopakumar began a career in field service engineering with Wärtsilä, focusing on after-sales support for generator systems. Gopakumar holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Thiagarajar College of Engineering.
