Josh Gissing

Josh Gissing is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as the General Manager & Cluster Head for the UK & Ireland at Biocon Biologics since February 2024, where responsibilities include leading commercial operations and expanding the biosimilar portfolio. Previously, Josh held roles at Galapagos as Marketing Director & Interim Country Lead, overseeing a team responsible for marketing activities across various therapeutic areas. Additional experience includes global marketing leadership at Astellas Europe and Pharmacosmos, as well as significant roles at Clinigen Group, Baxter International, Janssen, and AstraZeneca. Josh possesses a strong foundation in brand management, marketing strategy, and team leadership, supported by a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Kent.
