Qais Shabandri has over 15 years of experience in biopharmaceutical process development, with significant roles at Biocon and Biocon Biologics. Currently serving as Senior Manager, Qais has previously held positions including Manager and Associate Manager in Manufacturing Sciences and Technology, where responsibilities involved the development of processes for Insulin and analogs while ensuring economic viability aligned with Biosimilarity requirements. Prior experience at Biocon included roles such as Deputy Manager and Assistant Manager in Manufacturing Sciences and Technology, as well as Principal and Senior Scientist positions, focusing on oral Insulin analogs and protein characteristics. Academic qualifications include an M.Tech in Biotechnology from the Vellore Institute of Technology and a B.E. in Biotechnology from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
