Vinod Kumar

Vinod Kumar is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Senior Director of Global Program Management for Biosimilars at Biocon Biologics since June 2018. Vinod's expertise spans biosimilar development from ideation to commercial launch, encompassing lifecycle management, portfolio management, and budgeting. Significant achievements include the successful global launch of multiple biosimilars, such as Trastuzumab (Ogivri®) and the world's first interchangeable long-acting Insulin Glargine biosimilar (Semglee®). Prior experience includes roles at Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd. and Lupin Limited, with a foundation in project management from Glenmark Pharmaceuticals. Vinod holds an Executive General Management Program degree from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, a Master's in Pharmacy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, and a Bachelor's in Pharmacy from Govt.
