Alane Barnes

Alane Barnes is the VP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, overseeing all legal activities. With a background in commercial litigation and healthcare law, Alane has a strong foundation in legal and business transactions. Previous roles include Senior Licensing Associate at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and practicing attorney at various law firms. Alane holds a Juris Doctor from Samford University and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
