Danielle Clay

Danielle Clay is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in CMC operations and project management within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Executive Director of CMC Operations at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since May 2020, Danielle previously held leadership positions at Sollis Therapeutics and Evonik, where responsibilities included oversight of drug delivery services and strategic budget planning. At Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Danielle led global CMC teams and developed strategies for pipeline assets, while at Medtronic, Danielle managed program development for biologics therapy segments. Earlier career roles included project management at Brookwood Pharma and research engineering at Southern Research Institute. Danielle holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Master's in Project Management from Villanova University, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University.
