Eric Babineaux

Eric Babineaux is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. Currently serving as Executive Director and Senior Corporate Counsel at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since August 2021, Eric leads transactional matters and manages complex agreements to support clinical development and commercial initiatives. Previously, as Corporate Counsel at BioDelivery Sciences International, Eric provided legal guidance on a variety of regulatory issues, ensuring compliance in marketing and promotion of products. Eric's background also includes roles as Lead Legal Counsel and Senior Contract Analyst at WCG Clintrax, where responsibilities encompassed contract analysis and training on legal challenges in pharmaceutical negotiations. Eric began a legal career at INC Research and various law firms, including Everett Law Firm and The Kirby Law Firm. Eric earned a Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law and a B.S. in English from Louisiana State University.
