Pravin Kotian

Pravin Kotian serves as the Senior Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a position held since July 1994, and previously held the role of Executive Director of Discovery Chemistry at the same company. Before joining BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Pravin Kotian was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Research Triangle Institute from August 1992 to June 1994. Educational achievements include a PhD in Organic Chemistry from The University of Alabama (1988-1992), a BSc (Tech) in Pharmaceuticals and Fine Chemicals from UDCT or ICT (1984-1987), a BSc in Chemistry from SIES College of Arts and Science (1979-1984), and an SSC from Chembur Karnataka High School (1970-1979).
