Robbie Waites

Robbie Waites, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Toxicology at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a position held since August 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Lead Toxicologist at SABIC from 2007 until November 2021, Director of Toxicology at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 2003 to 2007, and Head of Drug Development Toxicology I at GSK from 1999 to 2003. Earlier in the career, Robbie Waites held the position of Senior Scientist at Parke Davis Pharmaceuticals from 1998 to 1999 and Associate Senior Investigator at SmithKline Beecham Corporation Pharmaceuticals from 1991 to 1997. Educational credentials include a PhD in Biomedical Science from East Tennessee State University James H.
