Shelby Norris

Shelby Norris has extensive experience in human resources and operations, currently serving as Manager of Compensation & Equity Operations at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since January 2019. Previous roles at BioCryst include People Operations Manager, Human Resources Associate, and Human Resources Analyst. Shelby also gained valuable experience as a Temporary Legal Assistant and as a Marketing and Communications Intern at the American Red Cross - Eastern North Carolina Region. Additional experience includes serving as a Sport/Development Intern at Special Olympics North Carolina, a Sales Associate at Athleta, and founding the Vice President of Programming for the North Carolina State University chapter of College Mentors for Kids, where over $1,000 was raised for the organization. Shelby holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication with a focus on Nonprofit Studies from North Carolina State University.
