Nisha Durand

Nisha Durand, Ph.D., serves as the GMP Director at BioCytics Inc since January 2024. Prior to this role, Nisha worked at Mayo Clinic from July 2012 to January 2024, where responsibilities included serving as Assistant Professor of Regenerative Medicine and Process Development Manager at the Center for Regenerative Biotherapeutics, managing Phase I-II cell therapy clinical trial processes and leading a team of researchers. Nisha also held positions such as Principal Research Technologist and Senior Research Fellow in the Human Cellular Therapy Laboratory, focusing on cGMP manufacturing operations and quality assessment of mesenchymal stem cells. Nisha's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and a BSc in Human Biology from Chadron State College.
