Eric Klarenbeek

Eric Klarenbeek is a prominent designer and educator with extensive experience in the fields of social design and biodesign. As a co-founder of Weedware Wierwaar B.V. and Krown, Klarenbeek has been actively engaged in innovative design projects since 2005. Currently, Klarenbeek serves as an instructor for the Biodesign Challenge at the Design Academy Eindhoven and as a jury member for the Dutch Design Awards, alongside roles as a tutor in both the Master Social Design program and at ArtEZ, where Klarenbeek founded the ArTechLab. Additionally, Klarenbeek initiated the Algae Lab at LUMA Arles and continues to lead experimental projects in the design studio, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to sustainability. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Identity from the Design Academy Eindhoven.
