Janice Riley

Janice Riley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in assay development and scientific research. Currently serving as the Director of Assay Development at Biodesix, Inc. since June 2022, Janice has previously held positions such as Senior Scientist at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp., where significant contributions were made to the launch of the T-Detect assay for Covid-19. Additional experience includes being a Science Teacher at Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, and a Senior Research Scientist volunteer at the Arizona Cancer Center, focusing on biomarker assays for cancer. Janice has notable expertise in product development from roles at Ventana Medical Systems, whereas key achievements include launching multiple CE-IVD products and leading the development of assays for prostate cancer detection. A strong foundation in biochemistry was established through a PhD from The City College of New York, complemented by early career research roles.
