Lee Attix

Wildlife Research Biologist at Biodiversity Research Institute

Lee Attix is an accomplished wildlife research biologist with extensive experience in loon conservation and management. As the Director and Founder of Loon Conservation Associates since January 2018, Lee has spearheaded efforts to protect loons and their habitats through collaborative initiatives and educational programs. In addition, Lee has served as the lead researcher for Common Loon monitoring and restoration projects in Massachusetts at the Biodiversity Research Institute since January 1999, contributing significantly to the "Restore The Call" initiative funded by the Ricketts Conservation Foundation. Lee's background also includes business management and development, overseeing various operational functions and exploring alternative revenue streams. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Susquehanna University.
