Catherine Sohn, Pharm.D. has extensive experience in the field of governance and healthcare. Catherine has been a Board Director and Member of the Compensation & Management Development and Science & Medicines Committees at Jazz Pharmaceuticals since 2012. In 2016, they became a Board Director and former Non-Executive Chairman at BioEclipse Therapeutics, Inc. and in 2018, a Board Director and Chair of the Compensation Committee and Member of the Audit Committee at Rubius Therapeutics. In 2019, they became a Board Director and Chair of the Nom/Gov Committee at Axcella. In 2021, they became a Board Director and Chair of the Nom/Gov Committee and Member of the Compensation Committee at Maze Therapeutics. Catherine is currently a Senior Advisor to the CEO at Toivoa, Inc. and has been a Director of the Board of Directors at Landec (now Lifecore Biomedical) since 2012. Catherine is also an Advisory Board Member at the Drexel LeBow Raj & Kamla Gupta Governance Institute since 2014 and an Adjunct Professor at UCSF since 2016. Additionally, they are the President of Sohn Health Strategies, LLC since 2011.

Catherine Sohn, Pharm.D. began their education in 1971 at the University of California, Davis. Catherine then attended the University of California, San Francisco from 1973 to 1977, earning their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in Clinical Pharmacy. Catherine also completed a Residency in Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy at the University of California, San Francisco. In 2002, they obtained a Certificate of Professional Development from The Wharton School. In 2012, they attended Stanford University for the Directors College program. In 2020, they began their Corporate Directors Certificate program at Harvard Business School, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Catherine has also earned a number of additional certifications, including a Certified Licensing Professional (C.L.P.) from Certified Licensing Professionals, Inc. in 2008, a Board Governance Fellow from the National Association of Corporate Directors in 2013, a Board Leadership Fellow from the National Association of Corporate Directors in 2014, and a Certified Licensing Professional Emeritus from Certified Licensing Professionals, Inc. in 2021.
