Dr. Jeffrey Hausfeld has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jeffrey is currently the Chairman of the Board and Chief Medical Officer at BioFactura, Inc., a company that develops and commercializes high-value biosimilars. Prior to this, they were the Chairman of the Board and Founder of the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs, an organization that promotes entrepreneurship among doctors. Dr. Hausfeld has also served as the President of Hausfeld Advisory Services Inc., a private equity firm focused on healthcare real estate ventures, and Memory Care Communities of Illinois, LLC, a provider of state-of-the-art assisted living facilities for patients with Alzheimer's and dementia. Jeffrey has held other roles such as Managing Director at FMS Financial Solutions, Board of Directors member at Nex Gen Medical Systems, and Founder and Treasurer of the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs. Dr. Hausfeld is a Fellow at the American College of Surgeons and has also served as the President of Washington Center for Laser Medicine/Washington Voice Center.
Jeffrey Hausfeld, M.D., M.B.A. attended Brooklyn College from 1972 to 1974 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Jeffrey then pursued further education at Yale University School of Medicine from 1974 to 1978 and obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. In 2001, they enrolled at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School and completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Healthcare from 2001 to 2005.
