Daniel Patience

Daniel Patience is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in chemical process development and particle engineering within the pharmaceutical industry. Since July 2016, Daniel has been serving as a Senior Principal Engineer and Head of Chemical Engineering Small Molecules at Biogen, leading the development of advanced crystallization processes. Prior roles include Senior Scientific Investigator at GlaxoSmithKline, where Daniel provided technical leadership for oncology drug substances, and Research Scientist II at Teva Pharmaceuticals, focusing on process optimization and experimental design. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with additional degrees in Food Science and Chemical & Process Engineering.
