Ellen Tsai

Ellen Tsai currently serves as a Scientific Director at Biogen, a position held since October 2016, after progressing through various roles including Associate Director, Senior Scientist, and Scientist II. Prior to joining Biogen, Ellen Tsai worked as a Senior Bioinformatician at Partners HealthCare and held dual Research Fellow positions at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital from 2014 to 2016. Ellen Tsai earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genomics and Computational Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Bioengineering (Biotechnology) from UC San Diego. Ellen Tsai's early experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Researcher at UC San Diego and The Scripps Research Institute, as well as an Undergraduate Intern at Pfizer.
