Florent Clerc

Florent Clerc is currently an Analytical Scientist at Biogen since February 2020, contributing analytical expertise in the production of monoclonal antibodies and participating in the testing and release of raw materials within a GMP-compliant framework. Florent also pursues a PhD at Leiden University Medical Center, focusing on the analysis of glycans and proteins in relation to Crohn’s Disease and IgA Nephropathy, employing various mass spectrometry techniques. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Investigator at International Flavors & Fragrances, where analytical methods for material characterization were developed, and a Technical Support Specialist position at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Florent holds a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Geneva, complemented by additional paid internships during the master’s program.
