Mika Akira possesses a strong background in IT leadership within the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Head of Global Safety & Regulatory Sciences IT at Biogen. Previous roles at Biogen include Director of IT Global Portfolio Management and Director of IT Head of Japan & APAC. Prior experience at Sanofi encompasses positions such as IT Head of Sanofi Genzyme & Sanofi Pasteur in Japan, IT Leader of Shared Services, and IT Head of Transversal Applications in ERP Solutions. Mika Akira holds a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Information Study from the University of Tokyo and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Southeast University, China.
