Shaukat Mahmood

Shaukat Mahmood is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Snr. Manager and RegCMC Clinical Lead at Biogen since October 2020. Prior to this, Shaukat held positions including Senior Regulatory Specialist at Bavarian Nordic and CMC Regulatory Professional at Novo Nordisk. Shaukat's earlier career includes roles at CMC Biologics A/S as Principal Scientist, Quality Control Scientist, and Scientist, as well as a Research & Drug Discovery Scientist at Novo Nordisk. Shaukat began a career in research as a Project Manager at the Center for Clinical and Basic Research and as a Scientist at the Danish Cancer Society. Shaukat holds a PhD in Cell Biology and Biomedicine from the University of Copenhagen, earned between 1990 and 1998.
