Yifei Wang

Yifei Wang is a highly skilled researcher with extensive experience in machine learning and its applications in healthcare and drug discovery. As a Research Trainee at Brigham and Women's Hospital from August 2022 to August 2024, Yifei Wang focused on palliative care and fairness in medical applications under the supervision of Liqin Wang. Currently serving as a Machine Learning Research Fellow at Biogen since February 2025, Yifei Wang is engaged in small molecule design for drug discovery. Previous roles include an Algorithm Intern at XtalPi Inc., where Yifei Wang implemented transformer-like architecture for retrosynthetic reaction pathway prediction, and a Research Assistant at Tsinghua University and Brandeis University, focusing on data mining, machine learning, and deep learning techniques relevant to chemical applications.
