Rafiq Hasan is an accomplished professional in the field of healthcare, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at BGV (BioGeneration Ventures) since September 2023 and as the Chief Executive Officer of Complement Therapeutics since January 2022. Rafiq has held various leadership roles, including Board Member at Oxular and CEO at EXACT-Tx AS from August 2020 to January 2022, along with mentoring positions at Wayra and EyeFocus Accelerator from 2016 to 2020. Prior experience includes serving as VP & Global Head of SBE Ophthalmology at Bayer HealthCare and holding multiple key positions at Novartis from 2002 to 2013, including Senior Director of Mergers & Acquisitions and Global Head of Marketing for Ophthalmics.
