Francis Creighton is the President, CEO, and Founder of UNandUP since February 2018, where the focus is on addressing unmet needs and underserved populations through innovative life-science technologies. With over a decade of experience at the National Institutes of Health, Francis serves as an acting chair and standing member of various review panels, evaluating nearly $1 billion in grant proposals related to biomedical technologies and cancer therapies. Additional roles include expert reviewer for BioGenerator and panelist for the National Science Foundation, along with advisory responsibilities at Washington University's BioDesign Board. Francis holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics with a medical focus from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from Virginia Tech. Past leadership includes founding Pulse Therapeutics, Inc. and serving as a business advisor for the BioBusiness Alliance of Minnesota.
