Kevin Grieser

Landscape Ecologist & Great Lakes Bioregion Team Leader at Biohabitats

Kevin Grieser is a Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner with extensive experience in ecological restoration and landscape ecology. Currently serving as the Great Lakes Bioregion Team Leader and Senior Landscape Ecologist at Biohabitats since December 2010, Kevin also holds a position with the Midwest-Great Lakes Chapter of the Society for Ecological Restoration since 2017. Previous roles include Riparian Buffer Coordinator at the Hudson River Estuary Program and positions as Junior Landscape Architect and Research Associate at NYS Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation and Mohonk Preserve, respectively. Kevin has also contributed as a Parks Manager Assistant and held various roles in environmental research and fellowships, beginning with AmeriCorps in 2002. Kevin holds a Master of Science in Forestry and Natural Resources Management from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Penn State University.
