Alon Peled

Alon Peled is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in the biotech and biopharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at BioHarvest Sciences since June 2023, Alon previously held the same title at Vascular Biogenics Ltd. from 2017 to 2023, where responsibilities included project delivery for a new biotech plant and management of engineering and maintenance departments. Prior to that role, Alon worked at Omrix Biopharmaceuticals (Johnson & Johnson) as a Senior Strategic Project Manager from 2014 to 2016, focusing on technical investment planning and analysis of plant capabilities. Alon began the career at Omrix Biopharmaceuticals in 1998, progressing to the Head of Engineering Department, leading multiple projects across three sites until 2014. Alon’s early experience includes working as a Process Engineer at ADAMA Ltd. Alon holds a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
