Claudia Jimenez

Claudia Jimenez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the biotech and agrifood tech industries. Currently serving as an Independent Board Member at Biohope since July 2024, and as a General Partner at Swanlaab Agrifood Tech since January 2024, Claudia focuses on funding technological advancements in agrifood tech. As Managing Partner at SANPI Inversiones since October 2018, Claudia acts as an angel investor and consultant in the Spanish biotech ecosystem. Previously, Claudia was the CEO of ALGENEX S.L., successfully transitioning the company to a GMP-grade CDMO and facilitating its sale to Insud Group. Prior roles include Senior Director at TiGenix N.V. and Director of Corporate Development at Genetrix, with early career experience in investment banking at WestLB AG. Claudia holds various degrees including an International MBA from IE Business School and completed the Programa Consejeros at Esade in 2023.
