Maria Henriques de Jesus

Maria Henriques de Jesus currently serves as a Venture Program Manager and Senior Associate in Planetary Health at the BioInnovation Institute, having held various roles since January 2020. In addition to these positions, Maria is actively involved as a board member for multiple organizations, including ALGIECEL, Nordic Virtual Pastures, Stimuliver, EvodiaBio, and Kesmalea Therapeutics, contributing to diverse projects in biotechnology and sustainability. Maria previously held the title of Head of Operations at Twelve Bio, focusing on advancing CRISPR gene editing technology. Educational achievements include a PhD in Synthetic Biology and Technology and a Master's degree in Biology from the University of Copenhagen, along with a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Lisbon.
