Karen Rowland

Karen Rowland is an experienced professional in the field of biomedical design, currently serving as Managing Director and Editorial and Creative Director at BioInsights since February 2022. With over a decade of expertise, Rowland previously owned and directed Graphically Ltd from August 2015 to April 2024, focusing on translating complex scientific concepts into compelling visuals for clients ranging from large pharmaceutical companies to biotech startups. Earlier in the career, Rowland worked as a freelance graphic designer and held positions as Head of Graphics and Design and Senior Manager of Production at Future Science Group from 2010 to August 2014. Rowland holds a BSc in Neuroscience from Cardiff University and has a foundational education from the British School of Paris.
