Rafael Santana

Rafael Santana's work experience begins in 2006 at GE Healthcare, where they held various roles such as Development Engineer, Firmware Engineer, and MR Electrical Engineer. During their time at GE Healthcare, they played a crucial role in driving quality, reliability, and cost reductions for MRI sequencing subsystems and firmware designs. Rafael also led the implementation of the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (ROHS) requirements and contributed to the development of the Integrated Controller Engine (ICE) platform. In 2014, they joined Eaton as a Product Engineering Specialist, responsible for smart motor protection and motor control applications. Rafael later became the Divisional Program and Portfolio Manager and then the Global Engineering Manager for Firmware & Software CoE, overseeing a portfolio worth over $200M and leading numerous cross-functional projects. In 2022, Rafael Santana joined BioIntelliSense, Inc. as the Senior Director of Devices Engineering, but the month of their employment is not specified.

Rafael Santana obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering and a second BS degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Rafael attended the university from 1999 to 2004.
