Jian Lu Chen

Jian Lu Chen is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in drug development and analytical chemistry. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at BioIVT since December 2017, Jian Lu Chen previously worked as a Chemistry Consultant at Cleave Biosciences, Inc., where responsibilities included conducting stability studies and modifying HPLC methods. Prior roles include Senior Scientist positions at XenoPort, Inc., providing analytical support, and consulting at Galileo Pharmaceuticals, where bioactive leads were identified from natural sources. Early career experience includes scientific roles at Ancile Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Shaman Pharmaceuticals. Jian Lu Chen holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and both a BS and MS in Organic Chemistry from Zhongshan University.
