Matthew Sekira

Matthew Sekira is an Associate Scientist I & II at BioIVT, where responsibilities include developing SOPs and managing inventory using the Sage/X3 ERP system. Matthew also serves as Acting Manager for Custom Products, overseeing multiple projects and collaborating with customers to establish project specifications. Previous experience includes working as an Assistant Scientist, focusing on handling and packaging biological specimens, and serving as an Undergraduate Researcher at the UMBC Bioinformatics Lab, contributing to AI training data compilation. Additionally, Matthew held the position of Vice President of Programming for the Phi Delta Epsilon fraternity, coordinating service opportunities and collaborating with medical professionals. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
