Nanor Nerkizian

Nanor Nerkizian has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and life sciences industries. Nanor began their career as a research assistant at UMass Boston in 2006, where they conducted research in a laboratory setting.

In 2007, Nanor joined US Genomics as a Research Associate III, where they focused on researching and developing microfluidic devices. Nanor also had responsibilities in developing standard operating procedures and worked both independently and as a team member.

In 2010, Nanor joined Life Technologies as a QC Scientist, where they gained experience in gene expression analysis and genotyping using PCR systems. Nanor also conducted miRNA profiling.

Nanor then moved to GnuBIO, Inc in 2011, where they worked as a Senior Associate Scientist in Genomics, focusing on the analysis of genomic data.

In 2014, Nanor joined Bio-Rad Laboratories, formerly Gnubio, as a Scientist. Nanor later became a Senior Scientist, leading cross-functional teams and managing research associates. Nanor was responsible for coordinating project activities, managing budgets, and communicating progress to senior management.

In 2017, Nanor joined Exosome Diagnostics as a Pharma Relationship Manager, where they were responsible for business development and managing relationships with pharmaceutical clients. Nanor later became the Applications Development Manager, gaining experience in product development and commercialization.

Nanor returned to BioLabs in 2019, where they have taken on various roles. Currently, they are the Director of Sponsorships in Business Development, responsible for identifying new partners and sponsors, managing relationships across the BioLabs network, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the partnership program. Nanor is also involved in contract management, site expansion strategies, and collaborating with leadership to develop new strategies and partnerships.

Nanor Nerkizian earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from UMass Boston, completing the program from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, Nanor obtained certifications in Project Management Foundations, Project Management Foundations: Small Projects, and Cert Prep: Project Management Professional (PMP) from LinkedIn in 2018.
